Idle: a word that is used to describe something empty, unmoving and lazy. On Monday October 24, Redeemer hosted the 24th annual "New Horizons 2011: a Day at Redeemer for the Young at Heart," formerly known as Seniors' Day. The event was sold out, as over 230 seniors filed into the academic building to embark on a day of learning.

There is nothing quite as gratifying as a homecoming. That moment of stepping out into a crowded audience, looking out into the faces of the students who now occupy your old stomping ground. This was true for Redeemer alumni Josh Vanderlaan, drummer of The City Harmonic, as he and his band graced our stage on Thursday, September 15. The presence of God was so evident in the auditorium as the boys lead a passionate and raw night of worship.
