The time has come. My heart starts pounding faster, louder – I can hear it in my ears. The second I step off the plane and feel the heat envelope me, beads of sweat begin to pool on my forehead, dripping into my eyes. I swat a mosquito on my arm. I have arrived in Accra, Ghana.
