Redeemer Clubs Kick Off a New Year

With the advent of a new school year, many opportunities to get involved in the Redeemer community appear. In every direction, there are clubs, groups, and speakers representing a wide array of interests. There are intramural sports for budding athletes, bible studies and prayer groups to help you grow spiritually; outdoors and environmental clubs to get you in touch with nature; kids clubs and outreach programs to involve you in the communities; and best of all, the writing centre and the crown for those of us who know that English is the epitome of subjects! Not only do these clubs and groups introduce you to new people and passions, but they also compliment your academic studies with practical life applications.

How deeply you get involved and how honestly you pursue what you love will be reflected in the rest of your life!

Though there are so many exciting possibilities staringglaring everyone in the face, each year large numbers of people step aside and coast through the semesters! Their passions are forced to be content dwindling within them, instead of reaching out and fulfilling their inner potential. These years in university are the most formative years of your life. How deeply you get involved and how honestly you pursue what you love will be reflected in the rest of your life!

The people here to help you get better connected with your academic interests, but also with the world that exists outside of essays, readings, and researching. That world does exist surprisingly and it needs help. fanning out. It is a shame when there is so much to reach out to and so much potential inside of you.

Stop by the Senate Office, talk with one of Senators, talk with Syd, talk with Micah, or visit Student Life. If, coincidentally, all of these people are missing simultaneously, which is doubtful, then grab a pamphlet off the Senate wall listing the clubs at Redeemer and the people to contact. These people are here to help you connect with your academic interests, but also with the world that exists outside of essays, readings, and researching. That world does surprisingly exist and it needs your help.
